Difference between user experience and customer experience.
Let’s meet Jitender. Jitender works in an IT company. He is 30–32 years old. He is very fond of food. He keeps trying different types of dishes, today he came to know about a new food app. So he decided that today he will order food from the new app. So let’s understand Jitender’s experience.
User Experience
Jitender is hungry, so he downloaded the food delivery app. Jitender liked the interface of the app. He saw how easily he could find the restaurant and could order food of his choice from there. He also got the confirmation in his app that his food will be delivered in 20 minutes. It was greatly influenced by the food app’s clear navigation, self-explanatory interface, and fast loading time. Then he decided that he would always use this app to order food. This experience of Jitender was very good. So that is called User Experience.
Customer Experience
Now Jitender has ordered the food but 40 minutes have passed and the food has not been delivered. Jitender called Customer Care of Food App and was asked to stay in the queue there. Finally, after 60 minutes when his food was delivered, that food had cooled down completely. The food packaging was damaged. Jitender’s experience was very bad. So that is called Customer Experience.
